Community Nurses

We work very closely with our district nursing team who carry out nursing care for the patients at home. These visits are normally authorised by the GPs.

Health Visitors

We also work closely with our health visiting team.

The team can be contacted on 01224 283944. If they are unavailable then please leave a message on their answering machine.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.  They also have an important role in Child Protection.
