Patients who live in the Middlefield, Cummings Park, Northfield or Heathryfold areas can use the services of the Healthy Hoose.

Based at The Hub, Manor Avenue, the staff have been seeing patients since August 1999.  They offer a wide range of healthcare services and can deal with many of your health queries and concerns saving an unnecessary journey to the surgery.

The nurse practitioners have access to your medical records that we hold here at the surgery.

The nurse practitioners offer a drop-in system and a wide range of services ranging from;

  • minor injury/minor illness advice and treatment
  • smear tests/well women/well man checks
  • emergency contraception (morning after pill), free condoms, pregnancy testing and most types of contraception
  • immunisations
  • smoking cessation
  • review of long term conditions such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease

Telephone advice is available on 01224 558928

As at October 2021, the Healthy Hoose is open on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Appointments must be booked in advance. Phone 01224 558928 to book.

This is due to increased demands on the service. These will be 15 minute long appointments and will be for 1 medical issue only.

Appointments can be booked by phoning 01224 558928.
