Community Support Services

Did you know there are lots of services available in our local community?

ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) is an online service to help you find help and support such as foodbanks, money advice, mental health support and homelessness support in your local area. Visit to find out more.

Link Practitioner Service

Every GP practice in Aberdeen now has a Link Practitioner working in the practice to help people with a wide range of issues which can affect their health, for example money, benefits or debt problems, housing difficulties or loneliness. The Link Practitioners offer support to link people with the services and opportunities in their local area which can help with whatever challenge they are experiencing. Click here to read a recent Evening Express article about the service.

If you would like help from one of the Link Practitioners, please contact the surgery today on 01224 492828.

Fersands and Fountain Community Project

The Fersands and Fountain Community Project are based in the community centre next door to the practice and offer all sorts of services for local residents, including the Woodside Pantry in partnership with CFINE. Visit their Facebook page to see what's on.
